There is a wide range of housing in Bagshot.
These cottages were built by local builder Edwin Spooner. This style of brickwork, with red bricks
and yellow edging bricks, has been described to me as Spooner's trade mark 'house style'. If it was then he did a lot of building - that or it was very popular in the latter part
of the 18th century. It is used for the
railway station and for houses in diverse
parts of the village.
These are on Guildford Road.
Lupin Close.
Lupin Close is off the A30 just beyond Waterers Nursery. It derives its name from the Lupin Cafe which used to occupy at least part of the site.
Yaverland Drive. (built mid 1970's) Yaverland Drive takes its name
from Yaverland House which previously soon on the A30.
