Accommodation in Bagshot

I occasionally get asked by prospective visitors to Bagshot about accommodation, both B&B and longer term rentals or lodgings.
B&B and hotels
Bed & Breakfast and hotel accommodation in Bagshot is somewhat limited. We have Penny Hill Park, an up-market hotel, and The Cricketers, part of the Premier Travel Inn chain. Two pubs offer B&B, the Bird in Hand and the Fighting Cocks.
The local council publish a more comprehensive list of accommodation providers throughout the whole of the borough. The accommodation listed ranges from hotels through travel lodges to private bed-and-breakfast establishments.
Lodging
I am not aware of any centralised service that coordinates or lists households
that offer lodging, or properties with rooms to let. It is not something
I have had to research but I guess the best avenue is by recommendation,
'small ads' in newsagent's windows, and, or course, seeing what
Little Yews (this page's sponsor)
has to offer..
House purchase and rental
There is a wide range of housing in Bagshot from large detached properties to one-bedroom apartments (the latter mostly purpose-built on the Connaught Park estate).
Estate Agents market properties for the prospective seller, and most estate
agents also act as agents for people who have a property they want to rent
out (also called Letting) - usually offering a service whereby the renter
only deals with the Agent. However, not all properties are let through estate
agents.
